Just a stone’s throw away from one-north MRT, Winnie’s is a Taiwanese bubble tea store that offers unique milk and fruit tea combinations you don’t usually find elsewhere. They also offer healthier toppings such as basil seed for those who are more conscious.
A friend of mine once mentioned that R&B 巡茶’s brown sugar series is a very close rival to the highly popular Tiger Sugar! As a big fan of brown sugar drinks, there was no way I could contain my excitement so I went down right away to give it a try!
Ke茶, or KECha in English, is a new concept beverage kiosk originating from Taiwan. They differentiate themselves from competition by offering a wide range of colourful yet healthy drinks. Posters promoting health benefits of their drinks can be found plastered around their stores but how healthy can bubble tea be, right?
Ask any bubble tea lover in Singapore and they would definitely have heard about LiHO’s Fresh Seolhyang Strawberry Series. It has been so heavily marketed recently and there were also cups designed specially for this series! That alone was enough to make me want to give it a try! At the price of $6.60 for the medium cup, this drink is a luxury. It is way more expensive than the rest of their menu, and I’m going to find out if it really is worth the premium price tag.
LiHO recently launched a 1-for-1 Da Hong Pao Milk Tea promotion in collaboration with Shopee for the Lunar New Year. Da Hong Pao (translated as big red robe) is an atas dark oolong tea. Brown sugar pearls were also included, but the taste of brown sugar was so subtle it was almost non-existent 😦

Cotton Dreams is a small pastel-themed bubble tea cafe nestled in a corner on the 2nd floor of *SCAPE. Opened in March 2018, they claim to be Singapore’s very first cotton candy and alcoholic bubble tea store. I believe they are still the only one at this point haha.
